Bulgari Studio is an interdisciplinary platform, launched in Seoul in April 2024, built to bring people who work outside jewelry into the house. People usually meet our work at the end in the form of a photographed a finished room after every choice has been made. Bulgari Studio was interested in highlighting the decisions.

The Technique

In a Bulgari workshop, profiled strips of gold are wrapped around a wooden form until the edges interlock in one continuous curve. No solder, anywhere. The form comes out and the band is left hollow, springy rather than rigid, and seamless, because nothing was ever joined. The technique is called Tubogas, after gas piping and Bulgari has used it since the 1940s. In 1999 the Tubogas coil became the spine of the B.zero1 ring, its form taken from Roman architecture and the Colosseum. The rich history of the house and timeless technique drew Kelly to this classic piece.

Inside the Studio

The campaign centered on B.zero1, but its subject is Kelly's process highlighting a day at the studio and sharing her creative philosophies.

Kelly has stayed with the house since, marking new collections and attending events, and wore Serpenti for her December 2025 Whitewall cover, shot by Steve Benisty and timed to the collection's 90th anniversary.

My process is rooted in curiosity. My team and I are constantly evolving our practice and engaging new ideas and techniques. Our work is fueled by research and iteration. With each endeavor, we strive to design something that will last and create emotional connections.
