Overlooking Austin’s Butterfly Bridge and Shoal Creek, the Quill Room brings together Old World references and a more contemporary sensibility in an intimate lounge that shifts naturally from day to evening. Vintage pieces mingle with bespoke works by local craftspeople, while a gilded wallcovering drawn from an original 1920s Arts & Crafts design brings pattern and history to the space.
A custom neon work by an Austin artist casts a warm glow across the bar, adding an unexpected contrast to the room’s more traditional references. Nearby, the Edelweiss piano becomes both a musical and sculptural presence, extending the lounge’s interplay of craft, art, and design while reinforcing its character as a place for gathering and performance.
