Named for a bird native to the region, Goldie’s is an intimate cocktail bar for hotel guests and residents at Austin Proper. A softer palette distinguishes the space, with floral designs commissioned from Austin-based Serracinna and walls wrapped in vintage fabric with an archival print.
Behind the bar, a peach-hued mirror created in collaboration with Los Angeles artist Gilad Ben-Artzi brings warmth and luminosity to the room, illuminated by delicate bulbs set within copper piping. Layered with floral motifs, vintage textiles, and richly colored upholstery, the details give Goldie’s a character that feels intimate, collected, and distinct from the hotel’s larger gathering spaces.
