Giorgio Bagnara built Giobagnara in 1999 around a single specialty: leather, in every hide he could find, from printed calfskin to the rarest skins. That focus made him the person interior designers call when a project needs something made to spec. Marble, wood, and metal have since joined the range, but the reputation still runs through the leather.
The Maris Collection
Maris takes its name from the Latin for "belonging to the sea," and its forms from the same place: sea pebbles, coastline, shapes the water made first. Leather-clad trays, cake stands, and placemats sit next to chrome-finished coasters, ice buckets, and portable table lamps, in materials chosen to hold up outdoors and still look refined: painted aluminum, burnished ashwood, stainless steel, and marbled stone.
Maris Bar Cart
At the center is the Ultimate Bar Cart, Wearstler's first: leather-lined drawers, satin nickel hardware, a cut-out frame, an extendable marble top, and wheels smooth enough to roll from a living room to a pool deck. The rest of the barware runs in marble and sandblasted aluminum, including a set of Stacking Trays with a wave-like profile built to nest.
Working with Giobagnara felt so natural because they embody a commitment to craftsmanship and quality that is essential to my own work.
