The original Liaison, launched back in 2016, was built to celebrate iconic architectural form. This update pushes that idea further into trompe-l'oeil territory: five new patterns where basic geometry starts generating real visual depth and movement across a surface that never actually moves. The architectural precision stays the same. What's new is the optical trick layered on top of it — flat stone behaving like it has somewhere to go.
Creative Process
Five new patterns — Haven, Loom, Truss, Tecton, Axis — are cut from marble, travertine, limestone, and onyx, each offered in two stone-blend colorways and a range of mosaic sizes. The palette moves deliberately away from the original's high contrast into something quieter: muted taupes, soft greys, warm browns, colors chosen to reward patience rather than announce themselves immediately. The stone itself carries the real content — veining that took millions of years to form, doing work no printed surface can fake.
There's something grounding about working with richly veined marble — each piece carries this history, these natural patterns that took millions of years to form. The variation in the stone brings this authenticity that you can't fake, this connection to something larger than the space itself.
